Impact, create, repeat !

I am an Instructional designer from Tunisia currently based in Canada with more than 5 years of experience. 

I have developed a deep passion for the arts and the digital visual world from a very young age.

After obtaining my Master’s degree in Quantum Physics, I decided to pursue my passion for visuals and started working as a graphic designer in 2019.

Right now I’m working with Freedom Mobile on upskilling our retail specialist on wireless care.

I had the chance to work as an Instructional Designer for a fast-paced Ed Tech Startup. During which, I helped over 2000 young graduates like myself to become designers. By creating an e-school of design courses that allowed me to share my knowledge and experience with others.

My imagination has no limits. Even when using a template, I’m not afraid to try to make it better and more intuitive. Creating is my passion, and I love bringing fresh and bold ideas that help while considering realizability and reality.

🌟My biggest Challenges🛸

🦋 Career detour
with an academic background in Quantum physics that’s far away from Arts and design, converting wasn’t easy. After five years of practice, I feel much more confident in the field, having contributed to mentoring more than 1400 designers around Africa and the Middle East.
📝 Self-learning design
Right after graduating and deciding to have a career change, I overcame learning the Adobe suite in two months and landed my first job as a graphic designer. I then continue to learn the core principles and the purpose of designing compelling visuals and finding the right valuable solutions through self-discipline and practice in the real world with real-life projects and clients.
✨ Building the design school at GOMYCODE
In the past year and 8 months, I was tasked to build an entire school filled with E-learning courses for adults. I built in that time frame a span of five courses. I needed to learn the field of each course/project I started before building it. We followed sprints and the scrum methodology in the product team to realize faster impact and results. Building curriculums has taught me multiple skills, not just design skills, including adult learning, curriculum development, Information architecture, collaboration, time and resources management, collaborating with LMS developers, designers, field experts, and much more.
🍁Immigrating to a New country
is the current challenge I am facing in my career. I got to experience traveling for the first time, and this project has been planned and worked on to be realized in the past year. It wasn’t an easy decision to start over, but I surely love a challenge, and it’s pushing me to experiment and become an even better version of myself.
